Social Media & Content Manager

Role Overview
You will own the localized execution of Joybuy Spain's social media strategy and content production. You need a deep understanding of Spanish language habits, cultural context, and social media behavior, and the ability to translate the strategic framework from the Marketing Center into highly engaging local content. You will manage Joybuy's official social channels in Spain, using content to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and off-platform traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Strategy Localization & Execution

• Adapt the social strategy and content calendar from the Marketing Center into a localized execution plan tailored to the Spanish market, defining the role of each platform across awareness, engagement, and conversion.
• Independently run Joybuy Spain's official social accounts, covering day-to-day content planning, copywriting (in Spanish), asset briefing, scheduling and publishing, and community management.
• Plan social topics and interactive campaigns with local resonance, leveraging Spanish cultural moments and holidays (e.g., Reyes, Semana Santa, Black Friday).

2. Content Creation & Asset Management

• Produce high-quality social-first content, including short-form video scripts, graphic concepts, and motion template adaptations, ensuring content is on-brand and platform-native.
• Localize campaign toolkits (key visuals, video concepts, templates, etc.) provided by the European Brand Center into Spanish, and feed local insights back to optimize central assets.
• Build and maintain a social content asset library for Spain, ensuring consistency in brand visual identity and tone of voice.

3. Creator Partnerships & UGC

• Identify and brief local Spanish KOLs/KOCs in line with campaign needs, review partner content, track publishing performance, and ensure creator content meets brand standards.
• Surface and amplify authentic user-generated content (UGC), developing formats such as user stories and review to build brand trust and word-of-mouth.

4. Performance Review & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Monitor core social metrics for Spain (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, off-platform traffic and conversion, etc.), deliver regular performance reports, and iterate content strategy based on data.
• Work closely with the Spain category operations and paid media teams to ensure social content aligns with commercial goals (new product launches, campaign traffic driving, etc.).
• Stay in sync with the Marketing Center, share Spanish market insights, and contribute to cross-market content projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related fields preferred.
• Native-level Spanish with excellent Spanish copywriting and content ideation skills; English as a working language (for cross-team communication and reporting).
• 3+ years of experience in social media or content marketing; background in e-commerce, retail, or consumer brands preferred.
• Deep familiarity with the local Spanish ecosystem, content trends, and algorithm dynamics of mainstream platforms such as Instagram and TikTok; experience building an account from scratch or driving significant growth is a plus.
• Experience in short-form video content planning and production; able to independently write scripts and brief assets; familiar with basic editing tools such as CapCut.
• Data-savvy; able to use platform analytics tools and GA4 to extract actionable insights from data.
