As Senior E-Commerce Growth Manager, you are responsible for the growth of the FORMEL SKIN online shop. Your objective is to scale shop revenue by a double-digit percentage. This requires a thorough understanding of all dynamics behind shop growth — performance marketing, on-site conversion, basket size, repeat purchase, assortment and margin — and the ability to translate that understanding into a prioritised roadmap and measurable results. You will set the commercial agenda for the shop, analyse performance yourself, and specify requirements for our development team. The role is highly cross-functional: you will work closely with Marketing, Product, BI and Tech on a daily basis.

What you'll be doing

Own shop revenue, conversion rate, average order value and contribution margin as your core KPIs, including budgeting, forecasting and delivery against plan
Break growth into its underlying drivers (traffic, conversion rate, average order value, purchase frequency), diagnose performance issues directly from the data, and translate findings into concrete actions — working with BI to build reporting the business can rely on
Identify and size growth opportunities and recommend commercial priorities to the leadership team
Own and continuously improve the on-site funnel from first click to completed order, using funnel analysis and session data to find drop-offs and structured testing to fix them
Work with Performance Marketing on channel strategy, budget allocation and ROAS/CAC targets, align paid activity with commercial priorities, and ensure landing pages and on-site content support campaign activity
Support SEO, CRM and lifecycle initiatives that grow high-quality traffic and repeat purchase, in cooperation with the respective owners
Develop measures to increase average order value, including bundling, sets and routine-based selling
Contribute category knowledge to assortment, pricing and range planning decisions, and support product launches from on-site positioning through to post-launch performance analysis
Define and prioritise the shop development roadmap, including subscription and replenishment models, payment and checkout optimisation, personalisation, tracking and data infrastructure, and expansion across our European markets
Write clear, well-scoped requirements and briefs for developers and manage delivery against them

What you need to shine

At least 4 years of professional experience in D2C e-commerce, with direct responsibility for the growth of an online shop
Demonstrable track record of scaling a shop: you can explain the measures you implemented and the results they delivered
Experience owning a commercial number, including budgeting, forecasting and delivering against plan
Sound understanding of the full e-commerce lever set — traffic and channel mix, conversion, average order value, promotions, retention and margin management — and the ability to work credibly with Performance Marketing, CRM and SEO specialists
Strong analytical skills: confident with GA4, shop analytics and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau, experienced in funnel analysis and A/B test design, and able to build and interrogate a commercial model independently. SQL is an advantage
Proven CRO experience with a measurable impact on relevant KPIs
Practical experience managing a Shopify store, combined with the technical literacy to specify requirements for developers precisely and assess technical trade-offs — including a working understanding of headless setups, tracking, APIs and CDPs
Experience in trading and commercial planning: assortment, pricing, promotions and product launches
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and to present and defend commercial positions to senior stakeholders
A hands-on, self-directed working style, with the ability to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-moving environment, ideally gained in a high-growth company or scaleup
An advantage: experience with subscription or replenishment models, multi-market shop setups, and a background in skincare, beauty, health, supplements or a comparable considered-purchase category
Fluent English; German is an advantage
