Role Description This full-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role is based in Athens. The Retail Salesperson will greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations that support a positive shopping experience. Daily responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, assisting with merchandise display, processing sales transactions, and keeping the sales floor organized and presentable. The role also involves answering customer questions, handling basic returns or exchanges, and collaborating with team members to meet store sales goals. The Retail Salesperson is expected to deliver consistent, courteous service and uphold JOY Works’ standards for professionalism and customer care.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills to support store revenue and conversion goals.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with diverse customers.
Candidates should possess detailed Product Knowledge skills to provide accurate information and recommendations.
Basic math and point-of-sale (POS) system skills, with the ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and maintain store presentation standards.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
