As a Merchandiser at Rugvista, you will be at the heart of our commercial engine. Your decisions will directly influence which products our customers discover, how our assortment performs and how we continue to grow one of Europe's leading online destinations for rugs.
You will play a key role in driving the commercial performance of your categories by ensuring our products are presented, discovered and converted in the most relevant and effective way across our digital landscape.
This role is part of the Merchandising function, reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Merchandising.

Main responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize key merchandising KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), sell-through, stock health, product exposure and category performance.
- Use AI-powered merchandising tools to support product ranking, product discovery and merchandising decisions.
- Use data and insights to optimize product visibility, assortment performance and commercial outcomes.
- Analyse customer behaviour, sales trends and product performance to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Plan and execute merchandising strategies supporting campaigns, product launches and seasonal initiatives.
- Ensure that product presentation, categorization and site merchandising enable a seamless and inspiring customer journey.
- Collaborate closely with Buying, Commercial and Tech teams to align product exposure with campaigns, inventory and business priorities.
- Continuously improve merchandising processes, tools and frameworks to support scalable e-commerce growth.
- Support testing and optimization initiatives to improve conversion and product discovery.
What you bring
- Experience working with e-commerce merchandising, digital retail or commercial online roles.
- Strong analytical mindset and experience working with Excel, KPIs, sales data and performance analysis.
- Ability to translate insights and data into concrete actions that drive measurable business results.
- Good understanding of digital customer journeys and online shopping behaviour.
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
