Head of E–Commerce – Textiles & Goods
Textiles & Goods is home to two distinct brands – Grandpa, a curated retail destination, and Brixtol Textiles, a maker of Scandinavian– and British–inspired outerwear.
The Head of E–Commerce has full commercial ownership of the online business across Grandpa and Brixtol Textiles. Your mission is to unlock the full potential of the channel, growing sales profitably, building a scalable e–commerce operation and an outstanding customer experience for both brands. The role reports to the CEO and is part of the management team. Based at the Textiles & Goods HQ in Stockholm.
Purpose of the role
Own and grow the channel profitably. Set direction, establish structure, and elevate performance to realise the full potential of online sales and customer experience. Lead the consolidation onto a unified e–commerce platform and establish the technology, processes, and data foundation required to scale.
Main responsibilities
P&L & commercial ownership
- Hold full P&L responsibility for e–commerce across both brands – revenue, gross margin, operating costs
- Set and own the channel KPIs – conversion, AOV, retention – and the targets behind them
- Manage the e–commerce budget and report performance to the CEO
Merchandising planning
- Plan and run the campaign, launch, and seasonal calendar across the full year
- Benchmark the site daily – monitor performance and act on opportunities and issues
- Own pricing, product data, and availability on–site
Conversion & customer experience
- Optimise the journey from landing to checkout through structured testing
- Own merchandising and product discovery to present the assortment for conversion
- Remove friction and ensure a reliable experience across all devices
Platform & technology
- Lead the consolidation onto one unified platform serving both brands' distinct needs
- Own the development backlog – configuration, structure, navigation – balancing quick wins with long–term work
- Select and manage apps, integrations, and partners; apply AI and automation where they add leverage
Who you are
You're a builder first – someone who thrives when the ambition is clear but the playbook isn't. You want to create the structure, capabilities, and momentum yourself rather than inherit a finished machine.
You're proactive and forward–leaning; the drive to build and grow matters more to us than years of experience. You're self–starting and ownership–driven, with the initiative to identify priorities and deliver on them without waiting to be told.
You're curious, with a strong bias for testing, learning, and improving. You see analytical rigour as a tool for making better decisions, not as the job itself. You're collaborative, comfortable aligning and engaging people across a business that's taking the next step in professionalising and scaling its e–commerce capabilities. You're actively exploring how AI, automation, and modern e–commerce technology can be used to improve efficiency, personalisation, decision–making, and the customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven ability to develop and scale an e–commerce business independently
- Strong commercial drive and a clear focus on results in a fast–moving environment
- Naturally analytical, with the ability to translate data into decisions
- Hands–on experience with Shopify; experience with Centra is an advantage
- Confident across the Shopify ecosystem – apps, integrations, and digital flows, beyond day–to–day administration
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
