E-MERCHANDISING & ANALYTICS SPECIALIST
MISSION
The role drives digital merchandising excellence through the optimization of product visibility, content quality, SEO/GEO performance, and digital shelf execution. By leveraging data-driven insights and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the E-Merchandising Specialist contributes to delivering a best-in-class online shopper experience and maximizing brand performance across pure players and e-retailers. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online environments, combining strong analytical capabilities with a passion for digital excellence.
Main Responsibilities
Digital Merchandising Excellence
- Manage digital merchandising activities across e-retailer websites, ensuring content accuracy, completeness, and consistency for both new launches and existing product updates.
- Guarantee flawless execution of PDPs, Brand Pages, taxonomy, imagery, SEO/GEO-optimization, Ratings & Reviews campaigns, UGC, and onsite search optimization.
- Monitor and continuously optimize the digital shelf to maximize visibility, ranking, discoverability, and share of voice across retailer platforms.
- Collaborate closely with retailer, local Marketing and EMEA teams to ensure consistent brand representation, updated assets, and alignment with global guidelines.
Performance Analysis & Insights
- Track and analyze assortment, availability, pricing, PDP completeness, content quality, Ratings & Reviews.
- Monitor stock levels and pricing dynamics across retailers, ensuring the timely delivery of weekly performance reports.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations aimed at improving product performance, shopper engagement, content quality, and conversion-driving elements.
- Analyze shopper behavior, consumer journeys, R&Rs, and market dynamics across e-retail platforms.
- Monitor competitors, category trends, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
Temporary Visibility & Activation Monitoring
- Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of temporary e-retail activations in collaboration with the intern.
- Measure activation performance and provide post-campaign analysis to support future optimization and investment decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Key Account Managers, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Digital teams.
- Build strong relationships with retailer e-commerce teams to enhance execution quality, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen brand equity.
- Support the development of best practices, tools, and processes that drive excellence in digital merchandising across the organization.
Skills & Competencies
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online environments.
- Experience working with e-retailers, marketplaces, or digital commerce platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using reporting tools, dashboards, or data visualization platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital merchandising principles, e-retail SEO/GEO, search optimization, and online consumer behavior.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively across functions and external partners.
- Fluency in Italian and English.

What We Offer
The salary range for this position is €36,000 to €40.000 gross annual base salary. The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience, while maintaining internal equity and consistency.
