Responsibilities:

The core outcome you will own in this role: build and scale our Meta-led paid acquisition engine into an 8-figure/year growth driver for two of our owned brands at Do Good Ventures, then layer in the retention systems that maximize the lifetime value of the customers it brings in. If we can't make Meta scale profitably, nothing else in this role matters; that's priority one. You're joining a mid-7-figure brand that's grown 200% year over year, with a dedicated DTC push (started 6 months) already up 700% year over year and a clear line of sight to 8 figures annually from DTC alone.

Below are the specifics of your responsibilities:

Find and scale winning creative angles on Meta that hit our target CAC and unit economics — this is angle-level creative direction and testing, not just campaign management.
Scale creative volume in lockstep with spend, sustaining and growing beyond our current baseline of 100–200 ad concepts/month (internal + external) as budget increases.
Build new landing pages and PDPs purpose-built to convert the traffic each ad angle sends — pages built to match specific campaigns, not generic site pages.
Run continuous CRO tests on those pages so efficiency compounds as spend scales.
Own paid media budget allocation and spend efficiency on Meta — for now, Meta is the only paid acquisition channel that matters; other platforms are not in scope until Meta is proven at scale ($1,000,000 in spend / month minimum).
Build and maintain a weekly-refreshed report showing contribution margin per order (1st/2nd/3rd+) and LTV by brand, plus CAC, AOV, and ROAS, so we always know whether the engine is actually working.
Manage email/SMS cadence specifically to convert non-buyers driven by our Meta traffic and to drive repeat purchases from the customers the engine acquires.
Once the acquisition engine is working: help build out subscription and retention modeling to maximize the lifetime value of the customers it brings in.
Manage and hold to a high bar a mix of freelancers, agencies, and AI agents executing day-to-day creative and Meta execution — you set the standard, review the output, and course-correct fast.
Report directly to the founder; coordinate closely with our Amazon/Shopify ops lead on cross-channel alignment.
Numbers-first, but with real creative judgment — you can look at an ad and know why it will or won't work, not just read the ROAS after the fact.

Requirements

Proven track record as the hands-on, tactical force behind triple-digit growth for a DTC/Shopify brand, driven primarily through Meta paid acquisition — ideally someone doing director-level work at a larger company without the title, budget, or scope to match, ready to own the function outright somewhere smaller and faster-moving.
Deep, hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience at real budget — this is the single most important skill for this role.
Highly analytical — comfortable owning contribution margin, LTV, CAC, and cohort-level analysis, and can build or read a P&L-level dashboard.
Experience directing creative production (briefing, testing, iterating at volume) — finding new winning angles is a core skill, even if not personally designing.
Experience with Shopify CRO/landing pages and email/SMS platforms (e.g. Klaviyo).
Track record managing a mixed team of employees, freelancers, and/or agencies.
Genuinely enthusiastic about directing AI tools/agents as part of daily execution — this is a fast-moving, AI-forward team.
5+ years of experience in DTC/ecommerce performance marketing, ideally with deep specialization in Meta paid acquisition.
