THE POSITION
The Content Manager holds strategic and operational ownership of Aarke's content — ensuring that every piece of content produced reflects the brand's identity, drives engagement, and delivers measurable results across all key channels.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable setting the direction and getting into the detail of production. You will own the full content calendar, work closely with performance marketing and e-commerce, and be the person who keeps Aarke's storytelling sharp, consistent, and commercially connected. The role reports to the Head of Brand & Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive Aarke's content strategy, ensuring it is aligned with brand direction, commercial priorities, and campaign calendars — connecting content decisions to business outcomes and commercial insights
- Own the full content calendar end-to-end — holding timelines, managing dependencies, and driving delivery across multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Work closely alongside performance marketing and e-commerce teams, with a strong understanding of conversion methods and metrics across channels
- Take hands-on lead in producing, editing, and publishing high-quality visual content in-house across short-form video, photography, and social formats
- Adapt, finalize, and publish content across social and digital platforms with platform-native thinking across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and beyond
- Define, track, and report on KPIs — continuously optimizing output based on data and insights
- Manage and direct external productions, agencies, and freelancers in line with Aarke's visual identity and quality standards
- Stay ahead of platform developments, content trends, and creative innovations — leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve production efficiency, ideation, and performance analysis
WHO ARE YOU?
You are a content person with a commercial brain. You care deeply about quality and craft, but you are equally driven by what the data tells you. You are platform-native, hands-on in production, and comfortable managing both strategy and delivery at the same time. You bring structure to creative chaos, keep stakeholders aligned, and you are always looking for smarter, faster ways to work — including with AI. You have an eye for design and the confidence to hold the bar independently.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in content creation, content marketing, or social media — ideally in a premium or lifestyle brand; experience from a start-up or scale-up is a plus
- Experience developing and owning content strategies and projects end-to-end — comfortable holding timelines, managing dependencies, and driving delivery across multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Proven experience defining, tracking, and reporting on KPIs — continuously optimizing output based on data and insights
- Hands-on production and editing skills across short-form video, photography, and social formats
- Experience working alongside performance marketing or e-commerce teams, with a deep understanding of conversion methods and metrics across channels
- Strong commercial instinct — you connect content decisions to business outcomes and insights
- Platform-native thinking across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and beyond
- A tech-curious mindset and experience using and building AI-assisted tools to make tasks and workflows more efficient
- An eye for design and the confidence to maintain visual standards independently
