Help us build the Salsa Shop Media House
At Salsa Shop, we believe a strong brand is about more than great food. We want to build a community people genuinely want to be part of, both online and in real life.
Our ambition is to build the Salsa Shop Media House: a creative engine that produces content people actually want to watch, creates experiences people want to join, and builds relationships with creators who want to be part of our world.
And we’re just getting started.
That’s why we’re looking for a Content Creator who doesn’t just want to execute a content calendar, but wants to help build something from the ground up.
What you’ll do
You’ll be at the heart of the Salsa Shop Media House, turning everything happening around our brand into content, stories, formats, and experiences.
You will:
- Create social-first content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels from idea to filming, editing, and publishing.
- Develop recurring Salsa Shop formats and series that people recognize and want to follow.
- Find stories around our food, restaurants, team members, customers, creators, and culture.
- Build and engage our community, online and offline.
- Be actively involved in community events like our monthly Run Club, as well as future events, activations, and collaborations.
- Turn those events and real-life moments into content that makes people want to join the next one.
- Identify relevant influencers and content creators and build genuine, long-term relationships with them.
- Collaborate with creators on content, formats, events, takeovers, challenges, and unexpected ideas.
- Stay close to internet culture, food, music, lifestyle, and entertainment and translate relevant trends into ideas for Salsa Shop.
- Experiment, learn from what works, and help shape the creative direction of the Salsa Shop Media House.
This is more than a content job
We don’t want to become another brand that simply posts on social media. We want Salsa Shop to become a brand people follow, talk about, experience, and want to be part of. Creators are an important part of that. We don’t see influencers as a media channel we switch on for campaigns. We want to build a network of creators, artists, and personalities who genuinely connect with Salsa Shop and become part of our Media House. The same goes for our community. From our monthly Run Club to future events and collaborations, we want to create moments that bring people together.
Content builds community. Community creates experiences. And those experiences create even better content.
Who you are
You’re a creator at heart. You see content opportunities everywhere. You understand why certain videos take off, why some brands become part of culture, and why others feel like they’re trying too hard. You’re hands-on, comfortable behind a camera or phone, and can take an idea from “what if we…” to published content.
You’re also a natural relationship builder. You enjoy discovering creators, meeting new people, bringing personalities together, and building communities.
Ideally, you:
- Have experience creating social-first content.
- Are confident filming and editing content yourself.
- Have a strong instinct for storytelling, hooks, humor, and entertainment.
- Understand social platforms and creator culture.
- Enjoy events, activations, and bringing people together.
- Move fast, take initiative, and aren’t afraid to experiment.
- Bring your own ideas, energy, and creative point of view.
